'Wa~ring Yalok, in Taungurung language means 'River Dwellers'. This collection is inspired by the special Women's Places where our Women's Creation Stories came to be. In this collection I've used Ochre pigments to hand-paint layered designs on top of hand-screen printed linens.'

My Mother’s Heart & Home
'Highlighting my Mother’s love of 1950’s Fashion - Inspired by my Mum Maureen Franklin’s creativity, her passion of Dress Making and the garments she wore Ballroom Dancing at the Collingwood Town Hall, in her late teens.
This Collection celebrates River Women & our continued connection with our Cultural Practices.
I’ve worked with our Fashion Team in Kathmandu to have my design of Braken Fern hand screen printed on silk textile. This is our Taungurung Medicine Plant which has many traditional & contemporary uses.'

First Nations Runway
'My first collection Nagambii draws on my connection with Taungurung Spirituality and the knowledge I have learnt from our Elders. I have tried to create something that is not only beautiful to wear, but also pays tribute to the shapes of Country close by wa-ring, the Goulbourn River in central Victoria. In the design process I used Ochre sourced near wa-ring as well as campfire charcoal.'
